Over the last three decades the plant physiology and crop improvement group has provided a forum for researchers from around the world to discuss progress with the development plant breeding and the development of quality traits in leafy crops. Scientific and breeding advances can be exploited more readily through the regular contact between the many research groups working with leafy vegetables and desired quality traits.
This international conference will present work on the manipulation of quality traits in leafy crops through agronomic practices and breeding as well as issues in their measurement and postharvest management with platform and poster presentations from keyworkers in fields including plant biology, genetics, phenotyping, breeding and engineering.
