    "Find the mountains in Brussels" on a short guided tour, and learn where and how they are present, even in this distant location;
    Discuss the strategic research areas and recommended research activities with the authors of the agenda and discussants of the EU institutions and relevant European organisations in a Roundtable;
    Network with scientists, regional and national representatives, and members of authorities interested in promoting mountain research.
