The 2016 EU Agricultural Outlook Conference

The 2016 EU Agricultural Outlook Conference (Brussels)
6 and 7 December 2016

The second edition of this two-day event will provide an opportunity for a broad exchange of views on the state of EU agriculture and the global challenges which lie ahead, like the environment and climate change.

During the first day, EU Commissioner for Agriculture and Rural Development Phil Hogan will introduce the Conference, and contribute to high-level panel discussions together with EU Commissioners for Climate Action and Energy, Miguel Arias Cañete, and for Environment, Maritime Affairs and Fisheries and Karmenu Vella.

The second day will focus on the latest outlook for EU dairy, meat and arable crop markets for the next ten years of Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development. This Outlook, covering prospects for 2016-26 and elaborated with the support of the Joint Research Centre, will be discussed by panels of experts.
