Based on the success of its previous editions the CERVIM (Centre for Research, Environmental Sustainability and Advancement of Mountain Viticulture), along with CREA (Center for Research in Viticulture), the Consorzio Tutela del Vino Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco DOCG and the Veneto Region are bringing the 5th edition of the International Congress on Mountain and Steep Slope Viticulture with the theme: “Extreme viticulture: values, beauties, alliances, vulnerability”
The topics, all related to mountain and steep slope vineyards, will include the following: varietal climate adaptation and agronomic practices; viticulture landscape and its hydrogeology threats; communicative power; management and soil protection in steep slope vineyards; wine tourism, marketing and socioeconomic aspects. This event will underline the importance of social and economic role that mountain viticulture brings in many regions across Europe.
