As part of Heritage Week on Sunday 27th August Irish Seed Savers are inviting the nation to visit and celebrate ‘The Great Irish Garden’.

With talks, tours, tastings, some fabulous guest speakers and demonstrations means there will be something for the beginner and avid gardener alike. Our guest speakers this year are RTE presenter and environmentalist Duncan Stewart, Brown Envelope Seeds founder Madeleine McKeever and renowned Organic Gardening guru Jim Cronin. Each will be highlighting the need for biodiversity, heritage, conservation and best organic practices. They are sure to provide some fascinating insights. Apple, potato and tomato displays will be held throughout the day. For the little ones there will be face painting all day and weather permitting there will be a children’s treasure hunt too.
