1st European Symposium on Livestock Farming in Mountain Areas

For three days the vibrant city of Bozen-Bolzano, surrounded by the Alps with its UNESCO world heritage of the Dolomites, its wine and fruit yards and its mountain farms will host this event interconnecting science and people. Organized by the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, the Eurac Research Centre, FiBL Switzerland and the University of Padova in cooperation with the European Federation of Animal Science (EAAP), oral presentations, invited keynote speakers and poster presentations frame the program which will be completed by field trips to local farms and industries.
We invite researchers from all over Europe to submit and present their work at the symposium and to discuss the future of mountain farming.

February 28th 2018:     Deadline for abstract submission
March 15th 2018:        Notification about abstract acceptance
April 1st 2018:              Final registration for presenters (both oral and poster)
June 2nd 2018:             Registration closes
